Her notable past performances include Dorabella in Mozart's "Così fan tutte" at Ewha University and Valencienne in Lehár's "The Merry Widow," Flora in Verdi's "La Traviata," as well as Valletto and Fortuna in Monteverdi's "L’incoronazione di Poppea" at the Wuppertal Opera.She has portrayed Venus in Offenbach's "Orpheus in the Underworld" at the Theater Dortmund, Mother Goose in Stravinsky's "The Rake's Progress" at the Verbier Festival, and also La Ciesca in Puccini's "Il Trittico" and Laura in Tchaikovsky's "Iolanta" at the Musiktheater im Revier Gelsenkirchen. Additionally, she performed the role of Hänsel in Humperdinck's "Hänsel and Gretel" with the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen. Melania Kwon began her musical education in her hometown of Seoul, South Korea, and completed her bachelor’s degree in Vocal Studies at Ewha Women’s University under Prof. E. Kim. To further refine her skills, she continued her studies in Germany and earned her master’s degree in Voice at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin under Prof. E. Wolak.
